Urbaser Ltd is celebrating the results of a recent survey undertaken by the National Highways and Transport Network (NHT) across 133 local authorities in the UK. The survey ranks the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead as second best nationally for the cleanliness of its roads and third best nationally for the cleanliness of its pavements.
Urbaser has been carrying out street cleansing services in the Borough since April 2017 when they were selected by VolkerHighways as a subcontractor to deliver this element of the Highway Management and Maintenance contract.
Javier Peiro, Managing Director, Urbaser Ltd, said: “We are delighted to have helped achieved these great results, in partnership with Volker Highways. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the teams and local management team for doing such an excellent job.”
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) is delighted with Urbaser’s performance. Cllr Phillip Bicknell, lead member for Highways, Transport and Windsor at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead said: “These great results show how our partners are working hard to ensure we have a clean and tidy borough for all our residents and the many visitors who come to our borough each year. We’d like to thank the crew for all their hard work.”
The National Highways and Transport (NHT) Benchmarking Survey was set up to provide detailed resident satisfaction information across highways and transport services on a national scale. The 2018 survey was carried in June and the results made available in October.
