Urbaser Ltd strongly values its employees and the hard work they do for our clients, and we believe they should benefit from a good work-life balance and health initiatives. As a result of this, in March 2016 we were proud to become a member of the Government’s Cycle to Work scheme.

Over 180,000 people a year sign up to this scheme and as a result it is helping save the country 130,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, as well as having proven results on the increased fitness and health levels of participants. Many of our employees appreciate this new tax-free benefit and have signed up, now making regular use of their new bikes on their commute to work.

Understanding of the fact that many parents find it difficult financially when first returning to work, Urbaser Ltd has signed up to the governments Child Care Scheme in June 2016, helping to provide our employees with a convenient and tax-free salary sacrifice to be put towards a wide range of child care services and products. With an aim to support our employee’s families and keep morale high, Urbaser Ltd is pleased to see that a high number of staff that have chosen to take advantage of this scheme.
